Also called Active pantothenate derivative

Pantethine is the disulfide form of pantetheine, which is more directly involved in lipid metabolism. Some trials show modest reductions in LDL and triglycerides. It is more expensive than plain pantothenic acid and is only worth choosing if cardiovascular markers are the primary goal.
