Donations & refunds

Donation & refund policy

This policy explains how donations to Vital Matrix work and how to request a refund if something goes wrong.

Last updated: June 25, 2026

What your donation is

Vital Matrix is free to use. Donations are entirely voluntary and help fund the research, writing, and upkeep that keep the site free for everyone. A donation is a contribution of support, not a purchase of goods or services, and you do not receive a product in return. Donations are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.

Payment processing

Donations are processed securely by Stripe. Your card is charged the amount you choose at the time of your contribution. We do not store your full payment card details. The charge will appear on your statement under our business descriptor.

Refunds

Because donations are voluntary contributions rather than purchases, they are generally non-refundable. However, we want every contribution to be intentional. If you donated by mistake, were charged in error, or made a duplicate or incorrect-amount donation, contact us within 14 days and we will gladly issue a full refund.

How to request a refund

Email us at hello@vitalmatrixlabs.com with the approximate date and amount of your donation, and the email or name used. We aim to respond within a few business days, and approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.

Recurring donations

If you set up a recurring donation, you may cancel future payments at any time by contacting us at hello@vitalmatrixlabs.com. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically refund past contributions, though the refund terms above still apply.
