How Vital Matrix is funded

Vital Matrix is free to read. To support the work of researching and maintaining the library, some of the product links on this site are or may become affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

We want this website and its information to always remain free, to benefit the general public. Any revenue goes toward researching, maintaining, and expanding the library, never behind a paywall.

Affiliate relationships

Where we have an affiliate relationship, outbound product links are marked as sponsored and a short notice appears near the links. We may participate in affiliate programs operated by supplement retailers and affiliate networks. When we join a program that requires specific disclosure wording, we include it alongside the relevant links.

How we choose which retailers to support

When it comes to supplements, we prioritize companies known for transparency and high quality. They are not always the cheapest, but we believe quality and safety are critical when deciding what to put into your body.

In practice, that means we favor brands and retailers that publish third-party testing, are transparent about sourcing and dosing, and use bioavailable, well-formulated products, over those competing on rock-bottom price alone. We only join affiliate programs for retailers we would genuinely recommend on these grounds.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships never change our evidence ratings, what we recommend, or what we warn against. We rate the strength of the research, including when it is weak or mixed, and we only point to products that meet our quality bar. A commission is never a reason to list, rank, or praise a product. You can read more about our process on our methodology page.

Not medical advice

Vital Matrix is educational and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Supplements can interact with medications and health conditions, and individual needs vary. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or combining supplements.
